TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE – REFUND FLEX

1. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Refund Flex is an optional ancillary service that allows the passenger to request a refund of the amount paid for their booking (airfare and additional services) in the event of voluntary trip cancellation. This product offers greater flexibility and reduces financial risk in case of a change of plans.

2. AVAILABILITY AND PURCHASE

  • Refund Flex can only be purchased at the time of booking.
  • This service is not available for purchase after the initial booking and cannot be added to existing reservations.
  • It is non-transferable and applies exclusively to the individual passenger who purchases it.

3. CONDITIONS OF USE

The passenger may use Refund Flex if:

  • The refund request is submitted at least **24 hours** before the departure of the first segment of the itinerary.
  • The passenger has not completed check-in through any official channel (website or airport).
  • The request is submitted through Arajet’s official channels (website or Contact Center).

Once the refund process has started, the itinerary or segment will be cancelled permanently and cannot be reinstated.

4. PROCESSING TIMES

  • If the passenger chooses a travel voucher, it will be issued within a maximum of **48 hours**.
  • If the refund is requested to the original payment method, processing may take up to **30 days**.

In both cases, the passenger will receive a confirmation email with the refund details and estimated issuance time.

5. REFUND COVERAGE

The refund will cover:

  • The full value of the ticket and additional services included in the reservation.
  • Applicable taxes and fees, in accordance with the regulations of the country of issuance.

6. EFFECTS OF AN APPROVED REFUND

  • The cancellation of the itinerary or segment is **final and irreversible**.
  • Once the refund request is approved, the trip cannot be changed, reactivated, or modified.
  • Purchasing Refund Flex does not entitle the passenger to fare upgrades, penalty-free changes, or additional services.

7. ADDITIONAL RESTRICTIONS

Refund Flex does not apply in the following cases:

  • Voluntary changes to dates or destinations made by the passenger.
  • Group bookings, employee tickets, or promotional fares (unless otherwise specified).
  • No-show cases (failure to board the flight).
  • Reservations that include segments operated by other airlines. Refund Flex only applies to flights operated by **Arajet**.

8. FORCE MAJEURE OR OPERATIONAL CANCELLATIONS

In the event of involuntary cancellation by Arajet, whether due to operational reasons or force majeure:

  • The airline’s standard refund or change policies will apply.
  • The cost of the Refund Flex service will also be reimbursed.

Purchasing this service does not limit the passenger’s rights under consumer protection laws or other applicable regulations.
