Baggages and Extras
At Arajet, we make traveling stress-free by simplifying baggage transport. Along with a free personal item, you can bring a 23 kg checked bag, included in our Comfort package. Additional checked bags and carry-ons are also available for purchase. Save more by adding these options during online booking.

Personal Item
All Arajet passengers can carry a small personal item (backpack, purse, laptop bag) into the cabin, with a maximum size of 15"x9"x7"/40x25x20cm and a weight of up to 6 kg (for flights to and from Brazil, the maximum weight is 10 kg). These items must be placed under the front passenger seat, except for those in the front row, who must use the overhead compartment. If your personal item exceeds the allowed weight or size, you will need to pay an additional fee for carry-on or checked baggage. Please refer to our Conditions of Carriage for more details.
Carry-on baggage
Carry-on baggage (large backpack or small suitcase) must not exceed 56 x 46 x 25 cm / 22"x18"x10" and must not weigh more than 12 kg. Baggage exceeding these weight and size limits will be checked into the hold, as it will not fit in our overhead compartments. Carry-on baggage may not always be available for purchase, as space for carry-on baggage is limited.
Checked Baggage
Checked baggage (suitcases or boxes) must not exceed 158 cm / 62" in total dimensions. When purchasing checked baggage, the included weight is 23 kg per suitcase. Additional weight can be purchased up to a maximum of 32 kg per suitcase. You can purchase up to 3 checked bags per flight online or through our customer service. If you wish to purchase more, you will need to do so at the airport during check-in, subject to availability.
Your checked bag now includes up to 23 kg at no extra cost—that’s more room for your essentials. Need a little extra? Instead of paying per kilo, you can upgrade in simple 3 kg bundles: Up to 26 kg → USD 30/Up to 29 kg → USD 60/Up to 32 kg → USD 90.
Checked baggage exceeding the standard dimensions of 62 linear inches (length + width + height) will incur a flat fee of $90 USD per item.
Special Baggage
Special baggage includes sports equipment, musical instruments, electric wheelchairs, etc. Each category of special baggage has specific prices, rules, and limitations. Please refer to the Conditions of Carriage or contact our Customer Service for more information. The most common type of special baggage is sports equipment (golf equipment, surfboards, fishing or diving equipment, etc.). These items must not exceed 32 kg in weight or 366 linear cm in dimensions, and must be properly packed, as we cannot guarantee their protection. Motorized or pressurized equipment is not allowed.
Pets
You may travel with one (1) cat or dog in the cabin (no other animals will be accepted) under the following conditions: Pets must travel in a soft-sided carrier, no larger than 15”x9”x7” / 40x25x20cm. The combined weight of the carrier and pet must be less than 10kg. No other type of carrier (handbag, hard-sided carrier or any other type) will be accepted. The pet must be able to stand and turn around in the container. At no time during travel may the pet be removed from the carrier. If, for reasons of inspection or validation by authorities it is necessary to remove the animal from the carrier, they must be restrained by a leash and dogs must be muzzled. Pets are carried in the cabin for a fee. For safety reasons we limit the number of animals onboard each flight, so we strongly recommend you add your pet to your Flight when making your Booking or as early as possible.
Priority boarding pass
No one likes queues, so why not enjoy our Priority Service. Priority Service is included in the Extra fare, or you can purchase it separately if you have bought a Comfort or Basic fare using the 'My Reservation' option, or during online check-in. Our Priority Service allows you to use priority lanes both at check-in counters and at the boarding gate.
